One of the coolest things about my campus in Stratford is this three-storey Christie MicroTile display (below). My three Digital Media classmates and I were challenged to create an interactive piece that effectively used the unorthodox screensize. After much planning, designing and testing we came up with an interactive game with a "green" initiative. We call our piece Space Junk.
Space Junk is a shooter-style game that aims to encourage youths to keep the Earth free of trash. We developed it for children in elementary and middle school. Players play as Tommy Terra - a boy concerned with the environment - to obliterate junk monsters falling from the sky with his magic balloons.
